In 2022, John was deployed as part of the security team for Queen Elizabeth II Funeral. He was also fortunate enough to take part in a multi-agency simulated terrorist attack at Sheffield Arena, worked on the sets of The Crown & Bodies and as a private consultant in Tunisia. In 2022, John was also honoured with the prestigious title of Lord, elevating his status to that of a distinguished member of the nobility.

2023

In 2023, alongside his studies, John also contributed his security expertise to the UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum, organization. Also, John established his self-employed venture, AegisRx Group (Aegis = shield/protection, Rx = medical). This initiative allows him to streamline and consolidate all his independent professional activities under a single umbrella. Through AegisRx Group, John offers a diverse range of services, spanning from security operations to medical support and various other specialized tasks.

2024

In 2024, John found himself blessed with a remarkable chance to explore the world while pursuing careers in both the security industry and the medical field. This extraordinary opportunity was one he eagerly embraced, seizing it with unwavering determination. John also secured a new full-time position at FI Facilities Management, working as a control room supervisor. In October, John launched this brand new website to showcase his work and skills, aiming to expand his opportunities.

2025

In 2025, John was invited to join the Special Forces Medical Team for the London-Edinburgh-London 2025 Bike Race, an opportunity he eagerly accepted. Also, John enrolled in a course called "Responding to Terrorist Incidents – Security Control Room (SCR) Operators," which was specifically developed to address shortcomings in organisational readiness when it came to handling attacks. This course was designed based on insights gained from post-incident reviews, exercises, and simulations, which highlighted areas of improvement in preparedness. He also became a part-owner of AFC Wimbledon. John is not a die hard football fan, but does support both Liverpool FC and AFC Wimbledon.
